Botulinum Toxin
Botulinum toxin type A is an injectable neuromodulator, better known under brand names such as Botox Cosmetic®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, Jeuveau®, and Daxxify®. These neuromodulators temporarily block nerve impulses in the muscle, causing them to relax. This results in softening of fine lines and reduces the appearance of the dynamic wrinkles caused by our facial expressions.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are gel-like substances that are injected beneath the skin to restore lost volume, smooth lines, soften creases, or enhance facial contours. They can be used in many ways, including reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, creating structure and adding volume to the face, adding volume to the lips, lifting the cheeks, decreasing the appearance of dark under eyes, and giving an overall rested appearance.
SkinPen Microneedling
Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure for your skin. Using the SkinPen device, thin needles make tiny holes in the top layer of your skin. The damage helps stimulate your skin’s healing process, so it produces more collagen and elastin. These proteins keep your skin firm and smooth.
VI Chemical Peel
During a chemical peel, a solution is applied to the skin. Several days later, the skin starts to peel, revealing the more youthful skin underneath. Symmetry Medical Aesthetics uses medium depth VI Peels. VI Peels are safe for all skin types & skin tones.
Medical Weight Loss
Semaglutide and tirzepatide are once-weekly injections originally developed to treat type 2 diabetes. Both have since been found to be powerful medications for weight loss.
Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist, which interacts with parts of the brain that suppress appetite and signal fullness. When used alongside diet and exercise, it can lead to significant weight loss.
Tirzepatide is a newer medication that works on both GLP-1 and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptors, making it a dual agonist. This dual mechanism may enhance its effects on appetite regulation and metabolic control, and clinical studies have shown that tirzepatide can result in even greater weight loss than semaglutide when combined with lifestyle changes.
*Labs within the prior six months are required. Labs can be ordered by another provider or Rebecca Girard, DNP, FNP-C. Labs are not included in the monthly cost and can be cash paid or billed to insurance.
